JOB OVERVIEW
The YVR Operations Coordinator supports the Vancouver base in its KFACL, Aeroflyer and Third-Party Maintenance operations.

The role focuses on effective communication for day-to-day operations and ensures efficiency and accuracy in all aspects related to administration at the base.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

KFACL MAINTENANCE

  • M3 ERP Responsibilities
  • Create, manage and close workorders
  • Issue materials for all customers
  • Remove/install rotables component records
  • Create MEL's and RMI's for fleet aircraft
  • Print work packages and task cards for fleet aircraft
  • Upload and pick all predraw items for upcoming maintenance checks
  • Perform QA audit on all logbook pages and technical records for discrepancies
  • Administer paperwork procedures such as scanning, and uploading logbook pages
  • Manage long term MCO work orders such as corrosion inspection packages
  • Maintain workorder reference sheets throughout the base
  • Provide support to AME's with any material issues
  • Attend Fleet planning, Fleet Parts coordination and Inventory meetings to ensure awareness of ongoing priorities

SHIPPING & RECEIVING

  • Prepare and package all KF owned COMAT movements; removed cores, requested parts movement, tooling movements, outbound shipments help for YLW and YHM
  • Create and receive distribution orders inbound and outbound
  • Prepare dangerous goods shipments for both ground and air transport
  • Create a manual packing slip tracking sheet in YVR for non M3 item movement
  • Scan inbound documentation for the receiving of PO's for Purchased parts etc.
  • Organize and maintain shipping and receiving area

INVENTORY CONTROL

  • Order necessary parts, maintain inventory control/stock levels, bank checks, cycle counts, help with annual stock taking
  • Troubleshoot problem parts, missing stock, time expired items.
  • Coordinate inventory movements

TOOL CONTROL

  • Monitor Power BI reports for upcoming calibrations and repairs
  • Coordinate movement of tools to other bases and to local repair facilities
  • Manage tooling that is out for loan/calibration/repair
  • Audit tool control inventory
  • Ensure all barcodes, labels or calibration stickers are maintained on tooling

JIRA

  • Create Jira tickets for all fleet rotable items

GSE COORDINATION

  • Coordinate GSE workorders in M3 ERP software
  • Add GSE tasks and taskcards to GSE Planner
  • Maintain GSE records
  • Review and release all GSE services
  • Create Non-Routine work orders for GSE snags
  • Coordinate and order of GSE parts

THIRD PARTY LINE MAINTENANCE

  • Act as point of contact and induction planner for all customer work packages and requests
  • Manage, ship, and receive all customer owned inventory
  • Coordinate with various customer departments such as planning, materials and maintenance control
  • Perform QA audit on all logbook pages and technical records for discrepancies
, coordinating with external QA and records management services to handle corrections.


GENERAL BASE

  • Provide Respirator Fit tests
  • Act as the First Aid Attendant [AD1] and Health & Safety Coordinator/Representative for YVR
  • Perform monthly YVR Safety Inspections
  • Provide full support to Base Supervisor, Shift Leads and staff

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Minimum of 1 years' experience in a supply chain related role
  • Knowledge and handling of aircraft parts & material an asset
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Ability to accurately complete all stocktaking documentation
  • Strong problem solving, organizational and customer service skills
  • Consistently display a positive, professional attitude toward coworkers, customers, management, and the company
  • Proficient computer skills: M3 (Lawson), MS PowerBI, Excel and Word experience preferred
  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of KF Aerospace organizational systems and workflow
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work effectively independently and as part of a team
  • Able to train effectively
  • Able to organize others to achieve desired results in an effective manner
  • Must be able to work rotational shift work
