- Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism in a non-partisan support role.
- Exercise tact and diplomacy when dealing with MPPs, visitors and staff in a politically sensitive environment.
- Ensure rules of conduct and protocols are observed when parliamentary proceedings are in session.
- Maintain confidentiality of proceedings.
- Assist with the set-up of the Legislative Chamber, monitor access to the galleries, seat visitors, provide coat check services, and assist with committee proceedings.
