About The Opportunity:


Working as an integral part of the Public Safety (Ta na wa Téy̓wilhay̓lhem) Department, reporting directly to Senior Manager, Emergency Planning and Response, the Emergency Planning and Response Lead plays a pivotal role in coordinating emergency response efforts and ensuring the safety and well-being of Sḵwx̱wú7mesh communities.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Emergency Planning and Response, the incumbent will oversee various aspects of emergency preparedness, response, and recovery, collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate risks and address safety concerns effectively.

This position requires a dedicated individual with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of Sḵwx̱wú7mesh communities across various geographical areas.

Salary:
$ 73,628 - $ 82,419 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits program
