Responsibilities:


  • Install, maintain, and repair electromechanical machines and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues with electrical and mechanical systems and components
  • Proactively perform preventive maintenance duties to restore refurbished equipment
  • Fabricate and weld parts, test and repair
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Hands on tasks using hydraulic and pneumatic equipment such as: conveyors, compressors and balers
  • Responsible for the repair of machines such as: conveyors and compactors

Requirements:


  • Mechanical
  • Electrical Engineering Certificate/Degree or related work experience
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical equipment and machines
  • 12 years of experience trouble shooting and repairing hydraulic machines
  • Able to read and interpret schematics, blueprints
  • Experience in MIG,TIG and stick welding an asset
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with pumps, hoses, oils for lubricating machines/equipment an asset
  • Experience in recycling and waste management industry an asset

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$35.00-$45.00 per hour

- millwright: 1 year (preferred)
