At Long View, our proposals tell powerful stories—about our people, our solutions, and the value we bring to our clients. As a Proposal Specialist, you will own the end-to-end proposal lifecycle, partnering closely with Sales and Technical Subject Matter Experts to create compelling, high-quality proposals that help us win meaningful work.
Proposals may range from concise responses to complex submissions, and your ability to bring clarity, structure, and a strong narrative to each one will be key to your success.

A Day In The Life:- Leading proposal planning and execution from kickoff to submission
- Creating and managing proposal documents, storyboards, and content development
- Facilitating solution discussions and coordinating contributions from cross-functional teams
- Managing timelines, responsibilities, and deadlines to ensure high-quality, on-time submissions
- Conducting gap analyses and supporting win/loss tracking and continuous improvement
- Proofreading, editing, formatting, printing, and packaging proposals to a professional standard
- Supporting additional initiatives and projects as needed
- 5+ years of proposal management experience
- 2+ years of business writing, proofreading, and editing experience
- Strong verbal and written business communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing deadlines
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and solid working knowledge of other Microsoft Office tools
- Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail
- Experience with proposal management software (Qorus is considered an asset)
- APMP certification (CF APMP, CP APMP, or CPP APMP) or active pursuit of certification is preferred
- Willingness and flexibility to work overtime when required
- You are someone who brings both professionalism and positivity to your work

- Approachable, respectful, and confident in your interpersonal communication
- Curious and informed about trends, changes, and developments in the IT landscape

- Open to continuous learning, including participating in 2–4 training events per year
- Willing to support other areas of the business when needed
- Committed to following Long View's policies, including Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), Security Compliance, and Respectful Workplace programs
- Comfortable contributing to government audits and special programs that Long View participates in, as required
