    The School of Aviation at Seneca Polytechnic offers top-tier Canadian aviation education across our two campuses: Newnham and Peterborough. Founded in 1968 with the flight program, it has expanded to include training in aviation operations, safety, flight attendant, and cabin management. Our programs serve over 700 students and include:

    • Aviation Operations

    • Honours, Bachelor of Aviation Technology

    Our hands-on, career-focused programs feature advanced flight planning tools, a modern aircraft and simulator fleet, and full-scale A320 and B737 cabin trainers. We prepare students for successful careers in aviation and seek experienced professionals to join our team.

    If you have built your career as an airline or charter pilot, flight instructor, aviation safety specialist, or in other related roles listed below, your next opportunity could be with us. Our faculty includes a diverse group of aviation professionals such as:

    • Airline or Charter Pilot
    • Flight Instructor (Class 1–4)
    • Chief or Assistant Flight Instructor
    • Military Pilot or Aviation Educator
    • Flight Operations Supervisor or Duty Officer
    • Aviation Safety Specialist
    • King Air 200 Pilot or Simulator Instructor
    • Aviation Manager or Consultant

    Ready for Takeoff?

    If you're a licensed aviation professional with real-world experience and a passion for mentorship, and if you believe in hands-on learning to help the next generation succeed, we want to hear from you.

    You likely possess many of the following qualifications and skills:

    • A Commercial or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)
    • Category 1 Aviation Medical
    • Class 4 or higher Flight Instructor Rating
    • A Group 1 or 3 Instrument Rating
    • Experience in Integrated CPL or ATPL training
    • A background in multi-crew or SOP-based operations

    Bonus: Experience in simulator instruction, flight line leadership, or teaching at the post-secondary level.
