HOUSEKEEPERS - Immediate Openings


Stay Home Forever is a family owned and operated focused on home healthcare in the community, long-term care and senior's retirement living.

We provide private one on one services to seniors who wish to live in their own home and have additional support.


Duties include:

  • Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
  • Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary house
  • Making beds and changing linens
  • Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
  • Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors
  • Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry
  • Ironing clothing items
  • Using any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools
  • Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies, as required
  • Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces
  • Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste
  • Tidying up rooms

Requirements:


  • Previous Housekeeping experience
  • A desire to help
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and respectful manner
  • Complete a criminal background check as well as a vulnerable sector check
  • References

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 10 per week


Pay:
$17.00-$19.00 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Bradford West Gwillimbury, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Cleaning: 1 year (required)
