Ayla is an upscale Mediterranean restaurant looking to hire an experienced
Restaurant Manager to join our already established team of hard-working and experienced professionals.


SALARY:
$90,000-$100,000


POSITION:
Floor Manager


SCHEDULE:
Tuesday - Saturday (40h+)


LOCATION: 386 Richmond, Griffintown

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all areas of the restaurant and make final decisions on matters of importance to guest service
  • Ensure positive guest service in all areas
  • Investigate and respond to complaints; turning dissatisfied clients into return guests
  • Manage staff and maintain a high level of employee morale
  • Recruit, train, motivate Front of House staff
  • Show leadership in creating a supportive and encouraging work culture
  • Oversee restaurant opening and closing procedures
  • Achieve operational objectives by implementing action plans concerning productivity, quality and standards of service
  • Complete daily briefs and shift end reports

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Min 3 years of management experience in a high end restaurant
  • Knowledgeable and passionate about food, wines, spirits and alcoholic beverages
  • Ability to demonstrate extreme organization in a fast paced environment
  • MUST BE a team player No "Big Egos"
  • Must be completely bilingual (FR & EN)
