Navitas is seeking to employ a
Marketing Content Coordinator to join our North American team in Winnipeg (Hybrid).


The
Marketing Content Coordinator will coordinate and deploy marketing materials, manage incoming requests to Marketing Services, help develop content for various marketing collateral (websites, landing pages, presentations, social media, campaigns, etc.), implement marketing strategies into compelling communications, and keep projects on track and on budget.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support for Marketing
  • Coordinate and manage the daytoday website functionalities for our BUs
  • Develop social media strategies and tactics for BUs. Train staff on best social media practices and how to utilize tools such as Tello and Canva.
  • Follow studio processes in line with the Marketing Services team and utilize the project management tool Asana.
  • Become an extension of each brand and ensure guidelines are adhered to in the production and maintenance of all publications, collateral and internal/external documents and communications.
  • Coordinate photo and video shoots on the UPD campuses.
  • Edit and/or quality check material.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Associate Director of Marketing Services

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience on a marketing or communications team, or work experience in an advertising or public relations agency.
  • Exceptional storytelling, writing, editing and project management skills.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite products (Specifically Acrobat, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Knowledge in Final Cut Pro, Premier, After Effects, iMovie or other video editing software.
  • Adept at crafting social media posts tailored for specific audiences and platforms.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and build relationships with students, colleagues, and university stakeholders.
  • Extremely well organized, flexible, and detailoriented, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple issues/tasks of varying priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and participate equitably in a positive and cooperative work.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working in higher education
  • Experience studying abroad
  • Familiarity with project management software (Asana, Basecamp, etc.)
  • Background using various CMS
  • Design skills working with the full Adobe Creative Suite a plus
