Bookkeeper/accounting Clerk - Markham, Canada - Unionville College
Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and classify financial transactions accurately.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain the general ledger.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and tracking expenses.
- Collaborate with teams for accurate financial data exchange.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
