If you enjoy working with the preschool population and would like to take on private clients in an independent contractor capacity, we would be happy to hear from you.

Our caseload is growing quickly, and we are currently seeking an individual in a casual capacity to help with our waitlisted speech and language clients.

This casual role can quickly expand into part time or full time if desired.


Duties:


  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans and provide therapy to improve speech, language, and communication skills
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and help families access public services

Experience Required:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Registered with CASLPO
  • Previous experience working with the preschool population, with wellestablished knowledge of assessment and treatment (student experience is acceptable)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, transparent and open communication style
  • Lidcombe Program for Childhood Stuttering
  • TalkTools: Oral Placement Therapy (OPT) for Speech Clarity and Feeding
  • Kaufman Technique for Apraxia of Speech
  • PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets)
  • PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System)
  • Hanen Early Language Programs for Parents

$90.00-$110.00 per hour
