Interested in helping students achieve academic success? If so, consider a tutoring position with
Sylvan Learning Centre in West Edmonton.

Sylvan is recruiting individuals who can tutor high school math and science, including chemistry, physics, and biology. Tutors work with students in a 3:1 setting in centre, providing individualized instruction to each student. Tutoring is currently being offered to students 4-8 pm Monday through Thursday and 10-2 pm Saturday.

Successful applicants should have a degree with a major in one of the sciences (B.Ed. preferred) or be in the last year of the degree program.

The person who best qualifies has a positive attitude, works well with students of all ages, and is an effective motivator.


Job Type:
Part-time


Salary:
$16.00-$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Evening shift
  • Every Weekend
  • Monday to Friday

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:

- teaching: 1 year (preferred)
