Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to fabricate ductwork components
- Measure and cut materials using calipers, plasma cutting tools, and power tools
- Assemble and build components according to specifications
- Operate forklifts to move materials within the fabrication area
- Utilize hand tools to rig, assemble, and install fabricated parts
Experience:
- Previous experience in fabricating ductwork or similar metal components
- Proficiency in using calipers, plasma cutting tools, power tools, and hand tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus
- Strong mathematical skills for basic measurements and calculations
Pay:
$16.81-$28.44 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
Experience:
- Heavy lefting and handling tool grinder: 3 years (preferred)
