Education:
Secondary school diploma and several years of management experience in the food service sector.

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years


Specific Skills:

• Managing the daytoday food & beverage operations within the Lodge and managing employees, and maintaining and elevating service, food safety and sanitation standards.
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the restaurant
• Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
• Recruit staff and oversee staff training
• Direct support in the daytoday operations for the housekeeping and front line including, but not limited to, such as Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance, employee management, purchasing, etc.
• Leading the food & beverage team by establishing and maintaining open & collaborative relationships with employees, reviewing employee satisfaction surveys to identify and address employee problems or concerns.
• Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
• Ensure exceptional customer service is being provided to guests, through leading by example and empowering employees with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
• Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering
• Control food and labour costs
• Drive the financial success of the unit's operation
• Conduct regular audits to ensure company & regulatory standards are met.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures by following company Safe Work Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
