Pacific Honda is currently looking to fill the position of
Parts Advisor.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the daytoday operations of the Parts Department including maintaining and ensuring optimum levels of inventory using data, individual experience and colleague's knowledge
- Maintaining customer service (CXI) goals based on dealership and manufacturer objectives
- Selling and procuring parts, and supporting services, to internal and external customers; greeting all promptly and professionally; providing guidance and assisting in the selection of goods and repair, suggesting companion requirements, providing quotes, determining availability, following up and notifying clients on issues
- Using computer systems to look up and provide internal and external customers with accurate information, quotes, invoices and goods
- Supporting technical staff, service advisors and appointments personnel by working efficiently with high quality output
- Providing timely and accurate parts, accessories, tires and lubricants to fulfill demand and client needs
- Processing returns, stocking shelves, keeping goods and department clean and orderly
- Conducting rotating and yearly inventory counts
- Handling hazardous materials and highvoltage batteries
- Inspecting condition of goods to ensure returned items are acceptable; returning of goods to manufacturer and vendors
- Operating fork lift and obtaining certification as necessary
- Delivering of goods to clients using delivery van
- Ensuring records/paperwork are processed expediently, accurately and in a timely manner and processed through to accounting
- Complying with all company & manufacturer policies. directives and procedures, and government rules
- Creating and maintaining positive relationships with customers; making customer satisfaction a priority to ensure solid business relationships
- Building relationships with clients and providing exceptional customer service
- Regularly lifting up to 11kgs and occasionally over 34kgs
- Complying with occupational health and safety legislation, regulations, and policies
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed
Applicants must have:
- A minimum 2 years' current verifiable New Car Dealership Parts Advisor experience
- Inherent technical and mechanical automotive knowledge
- A dynamic selfstarter attitude and be detail focused and extremely well organized with the ability to consistently manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- A supportive disposition and be a proactive character
- An intrinsic current knowledge of automotive DMS systems; Reynolds & Reynolds an asset
- A strong desire to support the team, the company and the company's customers
- Be personable & courteous with an outgoing nature and strong work ethic
- Exceptional customer service and satisfaction characteristics
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License with acceptable driving record
