Job description


Kelowna EMDR Clinic is seeking a clinical counsellor, social worker, or psychologist who has experience working with children/adolescents (experience or a background in EMDR Therapy is not required).


We are looking for a clinician who can commit to meeting with clients in person for a minimum of 3 days a week, as well as someone who is excited to explore a long-term relationship with the Kelowna EMDR Clinic.


  • Master's Degree / PhD in Counseling / Social Work / Psychology.
  • Registered with BCACC, CCPA, BCCSW, and/or CPBC.
  • Experience working with children/adolescents in a mental wellness capacity.
  • Knowledge and/or experience working with trauma is an asset.
  • EMDR training and certification are an asset.
  • Experience conducting family therapy is a bonus.
  • Mature, positive, warm, empathetic, and selfmotivated.
  • Flexible schedule and able to work independently.
  • Able to meet with clients in person.
  • Proficient use of telehealth.
