Description

We are looking to hire a Accounts Receivable Specialist, Key Accounts for our Finance division in Vancouver.
-
Your Role :As Accounts Receivable Specialist you will provide financial and administrative services to ensure efficient and accurate payment of accounts of Kuehne & Nagel's Northern American clients. You will take care of our daily risk assessment and credit limits, cash collection and allocation, reduction of Day Sales Outstanding (DSO), reduction of bad debts and credit insurance for United States, Canada and Mexico.

Your Responsibilities:

Responsible for the portfolio of Key / Global Accounts assigned to you.
Ensure compliance with internal accounting controls and policies.
Control credit excess and maintain it to a minimum and assist with daily credit decisions.
Coordinate communication and organize meetings with Key Account Sales Executives / Branch Managers / Department Managers.
Liaise with the National Credit team for ultimate escalation of credit situations with external and internal customers.
Ensure that accurate business records and sound bookkeeping procedures are maintained and credit goals are achieved
Handle invoice disputes, customer accounts reconciliation, escalations and regular reporting.

Your Skills and Experiences:

College Diploma or University degree in Business, Economics or similar fields.
5 years of collections experience, working with multinational clients.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proven ability to work under pressure of deadlines
