is looking to add
EMR, OFA2, and OFA3 to our Event Medic team in a part time position (roughly 20-24 hours per week), specifically serving our client, the Vancouver Canadians.

Working onsite until the beginning of September, this exciting opportunity is a excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and helping others.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Ensure every patron, staff member, or attendee of the event in question receives the necessary medical support as appropriate to the level of training and certification held by the respective individual.
Calmly & professionally respond to calls for emergency medical assistance and public safety issues within the assigned venue pr event area.
Coordinate and arrange emergent and nonemergent transport for patients to higher level of care.
Communicate effectively with venue or event staff and other local officials to provide critical information.
Utilize medical equipment and procedures as required to provide appropriate and highquality patient care.
Properly generate and submit all required response and patient care documentation.

WHAT YOU BRING

OFA2/3: Valid Worksafe BC certification required.
EMR: BC EMALB EMR license required.
Previous occupational first aid experience preferred (ie life guarding, standy OFA, ski patrol, etc.).
Previous event medical or operational experience preferred.
Ability to problem solve and come up with solutions quickly and implement them.
Ability to effectively collaborate with team members.
Reliable access to a vehicle.
