    Agilus is recruiting for a Project Manager (Upstream) in the oil & gas sector in Calgary, Alberta.

    We're helping them to find a we're helping them to find an experienced Project Manager to take on a key project valued at more than $10M, as well as some smaller projects.

    This position will be based in Calgary with some field visits, up to once per month. The duration of this contract is projected to be approximately 6-months.

    Ensure projects satisfy all safety, technical, operational, commercial, maintenance and quality requirements defined in client's specifications, standards, regulatory codes and within the approved budget and schedule.

    Liaise with other internal and external stakeholders to pull together rough concepts and define a clear scope of work, prepare AFE quality cost estimates, and ensure projects are resourced appropriately.

    Coordinate and participate in design reviews, PHAs, 3D model reviews, construction kick-off meetings, task risk assessments and pre-start-up safety reviews.

    Review and manage design, drawings and documentation issued by third party engineering companies to confirm conformance with client's specifications and applicable codes/regulations.

    Select contractors and supervise on-site inspectors; Manage the budget and deadlines for the project, proactively address issues and provide regular project updates to key stakeholders.

    Coordinate with stakeholders such as JV, Land, Regulatory etc. to ensure project requirements are being met.
    Maintain up-to-date knowledge of corporate and industry standards. Formal project management training or PMP designation.

    An undergraduate degree in Engineering from an accredited University or Technical Diploma from an accredited institution will be considered an asset.

    A minimum of 6 years of project management experience in the oil and gas industry.

    Thorough knowledge or working experience with relevant codes, regulatory bodies, and projects across BC and Alberta including ABSA, ASME, CSA, API and ANSI/NACE.

    Experience using a Computerized Management System (eg. MAXIMO, SAP, EMPAC etc) considered an asset.
    Experience in facility work/modifications (plant, equipment, pipelines, maintenance, abandonments, trouble shooting, optimization, turnarounds).
    Its a 6 months contract position
