Heidelberg Materials is in search of a reliable Millwright to join our local team. As a Millwright, you will be in charge of maintaining and repairing all mechanical equipment on-site to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and replace mechanical systems and related equipment
• Conduct field inspections to ensure safe equipment operation
• Identify and address equipment malfunctions
• Proactively anticipate issues and suggest improvements
• Utilize machining tools for fabrication
• Perform preventative maintenance on all mechanical equipment
• Follow maintenance procedures as per manufacturers' manuals
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental regulations, and company policies

Requirements

• Experience in heavy industrial/manufacturing settings
• Valid interprovincial or Red Seal Millwright certification
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to interpret mechanical schematics, drawings, and blueprints
• Strong problem-solving skills with proficiency in technical tasks
• Good computer skills
• Capable of lifting and moving heavy objects (up to 75+ lbs)
• Able to work in varied weather conditions both indoors and outdoors
• Physically fit to perform tasks like lifting, kneeling, bending, twisting, etc.
