Job Overview:


  • Oversee and manage assembly area operations, including inventory control, order processing, and shipping/receiving.
  • Supervise and train a team of warehouse staff, including material handlers and forklift operators.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy in all warehouse processes.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that all products are properly labeled, stored, and rotated as needed.
  • Work closely with sales and production teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Oversee all maintenance and repair work within the warehouse, including equipment and facilities.
  • Develop and maintain a preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment.
  • Create and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring that all expenditures are within budget constraints.
  • Work with outside contractors as needed to complete maintenance and repair work.
  • Develop and implement training programs for all warehouse staff to ensure they are fully equipped to handle all equipment and machinery.
  • Ensure that all warehouse equipment is properly calibrated and maintained in accordance with industry standards.

Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a warehouse supervisory role, with experience in automotive parts distribution and equipment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory control, order processing, and shipping/receiving.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful standard operating procedures for warehouse operations.
  • Experience with maintenance principles and techniques, with experience managing maintenance personnel.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and guidelines, and experience implementing policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
