About Us:
AutoShack, a leader in online direct-to-consumer retail auto parts distribution for over 40 years, is seeking a motivated Junior Systems Administrator to join our IT team.
This entry-level role is crucial for supporting our IT infrastructure, managing help desk tickets, setting up computers, and ensuring our systems run efficiently to support our dynamic team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Help Desk Support: Respond to and resolve help desk tickets promptly, providing support to endusers with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- System Maintenance: Assist in performing regular maintenance checks on IT systems to ensure optimal performance, including updates and patches.
- Computer Setup: Prepare and configure computer systems for new users, ensuring all necessary software is installed and systems are ready for use.
- Network Support: Support the management of AutoShack's network infrastructure, including basic troubleshooting under the guidance of senior staff.
- Security Monitoring: Assist in implementing security measures and monitor systems for potential threats to protect company data.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system configurations, IT inventory, and help desk resolutions.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of IT processes and systems to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of the Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, networking, and security principles.
- 1+ year of experience in an IT support role or relevant internship experience, preferably in a retail or ecommerce environment.
- Experience or familiarity with help desk ticketing systems.
- Good problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A team player with the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, Salesforce, and Talkdesk is a plus.

Salary:
$23.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
