Description

The Role:


  • The Sales Development Manager will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and motivating a team of sales driven SDR's who are responsible for outbound prospecting to qualify opportunities and generate revenue for Achievers.
  • Reporting to the Director of Sales Development, you will be responsible for people management, sales coaching, and monitoring key performance indicators for the SDR team. Using your previous experience in achieving lead generation targets, motivating teams, and driving development.
  • You will collaborate closely with marketing, regional sales leaders, and enablement teams to build a strategy for your team to not only identify new opportunities, but to develop the skillset of your team to become the salespeople of tomorrow.
  • This is an opportunity to join a highgrowth Sales Development department within an emerging HR Technology market to lead a team that is critical to the growth of Achievers.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage and coach a team of SDRs to generate new qualified opportunities and pipeline for the Account Executive team
  • Develop your team's skills for prospecting, qualifying and opportunity creation
  • Provide regular coaching, feedback, and professional development
  • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly performance of the team to ensure quotas are achieved
  • Provide reporting on lead volume statistics, lead pipeline, conversions and sales opportunities generated
  • Closely monitor metrics against goals and call out any issues with a proactive solution if issues are identified
  • Work collaboratively with local and global stakeholders to ensure tools, systems, processes, and strategies are aligned, including KPI tracking, dashboards and supporting tech stack

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Experience of directly managing a team of SDR's (growthstage experience highly preferred), ideally from a SaaS background
  • You will need to have experience as a quota achieving SDR, having worked in an inbound and/or outbound sales development role with a proven track record of creating repeatable pipeline
  • Data driven driving the team to keep on top of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly targets
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to maintain confidentiality and business ethics
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Proven ability to effectively hire and train new team members
  • Growth Mindset, a desire to bring out the best in your teams
