RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Manager, Information Systems is accountable for the day to day management of activities and service delivery of the Information Systems team including: Project Coordinator, Systems Analyst I, Systems Analyst II, Clinical Systems Analyst, future roles within the department, and project resources.
The Manager, Information Systems will work closely with the Director in the development and enhancement of the Information Systems strategic planning process.

REQUIREMENTS:

Postsecondary education and ten (10) years' experience in an information systems role.
Or fourteen (14) years related commensurate experience in information systems, systems analysis & implementations, and manaement complex projects, in lieu of formal education.
Previous recent leadership and/or management role in Information Systems / Information Technology.
Minimum 5 years' experience supporting one of the leading Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
Experience managing complex information system implementations/projects.
Strong understanding of business theory, business processes, management, budgeting, business office operations, and human resource management principles, practices, and procedure.
Demonstrated leadership ability and excellent organization, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Requires sound oral and written communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasks/projects for multiple clients with ability to meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Project Management Professional certification.
Experience supporting the MEDITECH HIS technical environment.
Certification in ITIL Foundation or above.
Previous experience in a healthcare environment and solid knowledge of hospital process and systems
