    As an Account Manager, Social and Influencer, your job is to partner with clients to relentlessly pursue innovative creative thinking, with a focus on identifying and leveraging new trends, executing programs, and developing client relationships. An essential ingredient of your success is the ability to partner and collaborate with a number of internal and external stakeholders.

    This role requires a passionate team leader with very strong creative, strategic thinking and organizational abilities. A strategic, creative and analytical thinker who can create cross-channel media strategies for our clients.

    Responsibilities:

  • Very strong in client communications and account management
  • Experience with social and digital advertising (strategy development and executional experience)
  • Work alongside our creative teams to develop creative for social & digital
  • Strong understanding of content strategy implementation
  • Demonstrate a superior understanding of the Canadian social media and influencer landscape and update broader team on emerging trends in the industry
  • Building social advertising strategies to support client campaigns; able to place and track ads across social media platforms (eg, Meta, Twitter/X, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Netbase or similar for insights)
  • Proficiency in insight gathering and analytics; ability to implement an effective reporting strategy on the metrics that matter to measure content performance and make timely suggestions on how to optimize (ongoing tracking and implementation of industry & brand best practices)
  • Strong social writing skills; ability to write effective and thumb-stopping social content
  • Acumen for social creative development; ability to work with and manage production partners during client campaign planning and execution ((i.e. manage creative specs and assets, work collaboratively with project manager, clients and partners on detailed work back schedules, prepare and manage promotions plans etc.)
  • Work alongside IAT partners to manage trafficking and content deployment
  • Build and manage strategic social influencer campaigns to grow and achieve business goals
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other agency partners
  • Participating in forecasting budgets and invoicing for a specific set of client accounts; participate in organic growth of existing client base
  • Qualifications

    Who you are:

  • 5+ years of experience in a social media or digital agency or SEM environment
  • Experience managing influencers is an asset
  • Good at multi-tasking, managing multiple partners, and program management
  • Bachelor's and/or post-graduate degree in Communications, Advertising, Media Studies or a related field
  • Experience in community management for brands is a must
  • Experience leading complex and highly strategic digital engagements
  • Strong proficiency in social platforms (Facebook, X (Twitter), TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram, etc....), and base knowledge of effective measurement frameworks for social programs
  • Proficiency in social listening platforms such as Netbase
  • Passionately committed to collaboration and is a dynamic team player
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership, presentation and communication skills
  • Shows strong initiative as an entrepreneurial thinker taking independent actions and calculated risks
  • Superior time management and organizational abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Skilled at analyzing data, deriving insights and building creative output to meet client objectives
  • Participation in new business pitches is an asset
