Branch Manager in our
Kitchener
branch.


The Branch Manager champions Kindred's purpose, engaging with local members and community partners to help promote peaceful, just and prosperous communities.

They provide leadership and coaching to the branch team in delivering service and advice so that members experience banking with purpose.

They manage branch operations, ensuring members can access preferred channels and receive products and services that meet their needs and helps achieve their financial goals.

They will also lead business development activities to grow Kindred's business, membership and impact.


Key Responsibilities

  • Passionately manage the branch as if it is your own business, and create a culture of excellence where exemplary member experience takes place with every interaction and business results are strong.
  • Regularly coach and provide feedback to your team members to enable them to have confidence in what they do, help them grow and drive to excel.
  • Collaborate with wealth, credit and other partners to coordinate member experience delivery through holistic solutions and advice that meet member needs.
  • Grow community connections to invite others to experience banking with purpose.
  • Bring business expertise to manage branch operations and ensure compliance to regulatory and audit requirements and effective risk management practices.

Plus, you bring your qualifications and experience:

  • Post-secondary education in business, commerce, or a related field
  • 68 years of experience in retail banking with expertise in a financial industry in a memberfacing role
  • 2 years of leadership experience with demonstrated coaching skills
  • Expertise in lending/investments
  • Demonstrated skills in relationship building
  • Aptitude for business development, change management
  • Solid business acumen, practicing operational soundness and effective risk management
