The Old Strathcona Farmers' Market Society (OSFMS) is looking for a passionate Farmers' Market Manager to support the operations of the Market and the OSFMS Board of Directors.

This position involves ensuring the day-to-day operations and tasks of the Market are conducted in a professional manner.

Old Strathcona Farmers' Market is Edmonton's original indoor farmers' market and its biggest year-round farmers' market. The Market features almost 140 vendors selling only the freshest locally grown food (truly farm-to-table) and hand-made artisan goods.

The produce attracts many of Edmonton's best chefs and its amazing vibe and artisans bring in tourists from all over the world.

Located one block off historic Whyte Avenue in the heart of a thriving arts' and festival community, it's been operating every Saturday for 40 years.

The Society is moving towards a philanthropic model that includes a bursary program and greater community engagement.

The position will be crucial in activating a multi-day General Store, Market Café as well as event and meeting spaces.

All of this is part of the Market's major revitalization into a community hub.
