The Marketing & Communications Team at the University of Toronto Scarborough is a highly collaborative group of marketing communications professionals, driven to find new and creative ways to reach our audiences.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing a digital media plan that supports marketing/communications strategy
- Building and strengthening relationships with stakeholders and partners of strategic importance
- Creating and/or editing original, published content and materials
- Writing and editing copy and content to advance communications objectives
- Analyzing and recommending options for the development of visual expression/layout of digital assets
- Verifying that all digital communication collateral adheres to brand identity and University style guides
- Advising on strategies to align websites with marketing/communication objectives
- Serving as a resource on specific issues to a group of specialists
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
- Minimum five years of web content experience, preferably in a postsecondary or notforprofit environment
- Excellent writing, editing, copy editing and proofreading skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, and the ability to interact comfortably and respectfully with all levels of academic and administrative staff
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and shifting deadlines
- Familiarity and experience with website content management systems, e.g. Drupal
- Applicants are expected to show evidence of a commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and the promotion of a respectful and collegial learning and working environment
Assets (Nonessential):
- Familiarity with digital asset management
- Familiarity with the Drupal CMS, or similar products
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud software
- Familiarity with workflow management software, e.g. Asana, Basecamp
