Experience required: 5 + years

Responsibilities and Skills:

Configure Linux servers as per requirements

Have experience with other distributions such as RHEL,SUSE,Ubuntu,CentOS,Others
Update patches on the servers and upgrade servers to latest versions

Strong knowledge on configures failover IP configuration

Working with vendor during Priority 1 issues

Satellite server
Creating content view and publish content view

Managing hosts and host groups
Upgrade satellite version as per requirement

Managing activation key

Troubleshooting connectivity issues between clients to satellite server

Strong knowledge and must have hands on experience on AIX,VIO and HMC

VIO upgrades/adapter firmware upgrades/VIO failover/maintenance procedures

HMC updates/frame upgrades/Live partition mobility/DLPAR/troubleshooting HMC issues

Install and configureAIX operating systems and servers

Maintain and upgrade the AIX OS
