North American Sales Manager

JMT Consultants Inc.

is a growing structural detailing and design firm that is seeking an experienced sales leader to join our dedicated team.

You will be responsible for the North American Market.

We are looking for someone organized and detail oriented, a background in construction is a plus, but not necessary.

You should be a hunter, someone who can generate leads, generate RFPs, work within our sales/estimating group and build relationships with our customer base.

Responsibilities:


  • Build sales leads
  • Maintain sales accounts
  • Building strong customer relations with existing clients
  • Working closely with clients to determine their needs
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new services.
  • Travel will be required
  • Coordinate & attend industry trade shows
  • Keep current on internal standards, methods and direction of company growth

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in the Commercial Steel Construction Industry is a plus
  • Highly motivated and target driven with proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

Requirements:


  • Diploma/certificate
  • Canadian Citizenship/Legally able to work in Canada
