    About The Role

    Sinai Health System is seeking Physiotherapy (PT) Clinical Externs (CE) to join the Rehabilitation Department at the Mount Sinai Hospital Campus.

    Responsibilities

    • Information gathering, including chart review and obtaining pre-admission history
    • Organizing and managing equipment
    • Monitoring vital signs
    • Assisting with patient mobility
    • Performing transfers, mobilization, ambulation, and exercises
    • Completing administrative tasks
    • Communicating effectively with the interdisciplinary team
    • Documenting assessment and treatment details accurately

    Job Requirements

    • Currently enrolled in the 2nd year of an MScPT program
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality
    • Prior experience at Mount Sinai Hospital or a similar institution preferred
    • Proficient in patient handling
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team
    • Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance record
    • Availability for evening and weekend shifts
    • Official school transcript required for the interview process
