Position Description

The Demand Planner is responsible for forecasting inventory as it ties into the sales forecast.


In collaboration with our Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing teams, this role will handle item level forecasts as well as other Operational tasks as outlined below.

Reacting to challenges the Demand Planner will mitigate risk to customer satisfaction and financial impacts.


What You Will Do- Responsible for all forecasting activities associated with the Sales channel.- Develops unit forecasts based on demand patterns and business trends to improve overall forecast accuracy.- Makes forecast adjustments based on business trends and promotional activity.- Assists in developing and executing demand plan to achieve company goals by working with Product Managers, Channel Managers, Sales, and Supply Team.- Performs root cause analysis of demand issues and provides resolutions.


Who You Are- A strong multi-tasker that can prioritize duties to meet objectives and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment- A team-player with the ability to collaborate with multiple aspects of the business- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Take the initiative to solve challenges using analytical and problem-solving skills- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and accomplish them all on schedule.

- Self-driven and pro-active, seeking out how to improve processes and key-metrics


What You Will Bring- Bachelor's degree preferably in business, operations, or another relevant field- Supply Chain experience.- Self driven and the passion to be your best day in and day out.- Ability to manipulate data quickly through Excel.- Determination to see things through to successful completion.- Ability to logically think through decisions on the fly.- Exposure and working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX an asset.- Ability to present and explain data in a logical way.
