We are looking for a
Property Manager
(Residential and Commercial) to support our business growth in Toronto.

The
Property Manager reports to and supports the SVP/GM in management of the real estate assets of OTT Properties and Development Group.

As the Property Manager, you will oversee the Property Management and Leasing functions and support the GM as required with strategic growth initiatives for OTT Properties and Development Group.

_ How you will contribute:

- _Tenant and

Client Management:
_

  • Manage client and tenant escalations, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Liaise with other departments in resolving tenant issues and addressing their needs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for sensitive ongoing situations, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Manage the preparation of documents, including renewals, offers and leases, preparing lease abstracts and maintenance, inputting tenant information, and updating contracts, and lease terms.
  • Assist with rent collection and tenant account reconciliations.
  • Vet and onboard new handymen, contractors, and tradespeople, maintaining confidentiality of client information.
  • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts.

Business Development:
_

  • Cultivate relationships within the local community to enhance the brand presence and expand the client database.
  • Spearhead business development activities, identifying growth opportunities and strategic partnerships.

Team Management:
_

  • Onboard, train, and lead the property management team (including security, maintenance, and housekeeping) to deliver exceptional property management and leasing services.
  • Foster a collaborative environment by facilitating regular team meetings and addressing escalated issues promptly.
  • Conduct performance reviews, identify areas for improvement, and create development plans for property managers and leasing staff.
  • Coordinate training sessions related to internal processes, including compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act and Landlord Tenant Board guidelines.

_What you bring to the table:_

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in property management (residential and commercial properties)
  • Must have previous experience in managing and leading teams.
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Property Management or related programs
  • Strong understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act and Landlord Tenant Board (LTB)
  • Able to work independently, manage your own schedule, and stay organized.
  • Able to multitask and balance competing demands from both clients and management.
  • Work well in highpressure environments and meet deadlines with mínimal error.
  • Able to think critically and creatively when solving problems.
  • Professional and proficient written and verbal communication
  • Extremely dependable & responsible
  • Pleasant personality and strong people skills for all personality types
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean criminal record check
