Contracting Administrator (Contract)


What is the opportunity?


You will be responsible for the issuance, set up and maintenance of advisor contracts and schedules to include completion of agent suitability reviews for all lines of business.

Updates and/or tasks must be completed accurately and in a timely manner to support the uninterrupted and accurate disbursement of compensation to advisors and distribution and access of client information to advisors.


What will you do?

  • Perform suitability reviews, including applicable verification and other due diligence tasks
  • Investigate advisor coding errors/referrals in the policy admin systems to support the Underwriting and New Business process and policy changes
  • Investigate internal and external queries and make applicable corrections. Research requests for change regarding compensation hierarchies (structure) and bonus setup.
  • Set up by correct hierarchy commission schedule, override or bonus rate changes; include discussion with advisors, MGAs and sales reps
  • Research and resolve unprocessed tasks and daily events from the compensation systems to ensure complete/accurate comp payments

  • Ability to work under pressure of deadlines and fluctuating workloads
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize within a changing environment
  • Ability to build effective relationships, both internally and externally

  • Proficient in excel and Word

  • Able to work with mínimal Supervision
