About the role

  • Responsible for operating CNC machines
  • In charge of basic CNC programming
  • Conventional machining CAD / CAM (SurfCAM) experience is a strong asset
  • Repair and overhaul or tool room experience is a strong asset
  • Must follow manufacturer's instructions for repairing aircraft engine components involving dimensional constraints using conventional tooling machines, as well as CNCs
  • Perform routine machine maintenance May be required to transport parts, components or modules from one workstation or centre to another
  • May be required to clean/inspect/repair parts
  • May be required to work in another category.

What you bring to the role

  • Completed DEP, DEC or ASP in Machining or equivalent
  • Ability to read and understand instructions in English
  • Be responsible for the quality and of the results
  • Display selfreliance and resourcefulness
  • Possess a keen sense of innovation

Additional skills desired for the role

  • Experience in the aeronautical field an asset
