About the role

Responsible for operating CNC machines
In charge of basic CNC programming
Conventional machining CAD / CAM (SurfCAM) experience is a strong asset
Repair and overhaul or tool room experience is a strong asset
Must follow manufacturer's instructions for repairing aircraft engine components involving dimensional constraints using conventional tooling machines, as well as CNCs
Perform routine machine maintenance May be required to transport parts, components or modules from one workstation or centre to another
May be required to clean/inspect/repair parts
May be required to work in another category.

What you bring to the role

Completed DEP, DEC or ASP in Machining or equivalent
Ability to read and understand instructions in English
Be responsible for the quality and of the results
Display selfreliance and resourcefulness
Possess a keen sense of innovation

Additional skills desired for the role

Experience in the aeronautical field an asset
