About the role
- Responsible for operating CNC machines
- In charge of basic CNC programming
- Conventional machining CAD / CAM (SurfCAM) experience is a strong asset
- Repair and overhaul or tool room experience is a strong asset
- Must follow manufacturer's instructions for repairing aircraft engine components involving dimensional constraints using conventional tooling machines, as well as CNCs
- Perform routine machine maintenance May be required to transport parts, components or modules from one workstation or centre to another
- May be required to clean/inspect/repair parts
- May be required to work in another category.
What you bring to the role
- Completed DEP, DEC or ASP in Machining or equivalent
- Ability to read and understand instructions in English
- Be responsible for the quality and of the results
- Display selfreliance and resourcefulness
- Possess a keen sense of innovation
Additional skills desired for the role
- Experience in the aeronautical field an asset
