is an accounting and tax advisory firm providing a wide array of services including compilation and review engagements, corporate and personal tax returns, business consulting, corporate reorganization, and other tax planning services.

We are seeking a bookkeeper or junior accounting technician to join our team. We have clients from many industries including professional services, manufacturing, construction, restaurant, retail, automotive and farming. Currently, our team consists of six individuals (2 part-time and 4 full-time members).

For this position, responsibilities will vary but will include:

  • Completion of full-cycle bookkeeping including preparation of GST, PST, and WCB returns;
  • Interaction with clients to gather necessary documents for bookkeeping and various types of tax returns;
  • Assisting other staff members on various tasks including office admin tasks on as needed basis; and
  • Working closely with other members of the team to assist clients with their bookkeeping needs.

Requirements:


  • 2 or more years' bookkeeping and/or accounting experience, preferably in a public practice environment;
  • Previous experience with Sage and QuickBooks;
  • Good understanding of basic bookkeeping fundamentals;
  • Strong computer literacy including MS Office Suite, especially proficiency in Excel;
  • A positive disposition and ability to learn quickly in a dynamic office environment.
