    Description

    We are currently looking for an Electrical & Controls Technologist to join our Articulate Integration & Technologies Ltd. division in Edmonton, AB. This position will have the primary responsibility of programming automated technologies within the company.

  • Responsibilities

  • Development and support of PLC and HMI programs for use on industrial equipment
  • Application, set-up, troubleshooting & repair of VFD drives.
  • Assist customers & field staff with electrical/programming issues on-site & remotely
  • Participate in commissioning and troubleshooting industrial equipment & processes
  • Integration of industry-specific hardware and software to enhance automation and efficiency
  • Update as-builts/redlines in AutoCAD Electrical from field
  • Other duties as may be assigned
  • Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience programming with Siemens TIA Portal, Allen-Bradley Rockwell Studio 5000/RSLogix500, GE Proficy, or equivalent PLC-oriented software.
  • 1+ years of HMI development experience with at least one of the following: PanelView, FactorytalkView, Wonderware, Redlion or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with industrial machine controls & electrical systems.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot problems and find solutions
  • Posses a valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Preferably, experience with SCADAs
  • Preferably, experience working with AutoCAD
  • Hours of Work

    Regular work week will be Monday through Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm with on-call rotations at times to resolve customer issues or problems.
