Our Brampton location is presently looking for Manager Market Access.


Job purpose

Duties and responsibilities

  • Develop meaningful and actionable monthly and quarterly reports that accurately capture the needs of Sales, Marketing and Executive commercial teams, with regards to pricing, formulary changes and provincial policy.
  • Evaluate new business and pricing opportunities through effective market research and ongoing analysis and review of competitive behavior and pricing, for the existing product portfolio.
  • Gather market data and, using current pricing rules, prepare and lead discussions on new launches
  • Build and maintain a data repository that effectively collects, stores and reports large amounts of data from various pharmaceutical sources.
  • Analyze sales and pricing for current and new products, to determine best formulary options.
  • Liaise with other departments in Taro as needed, to ensure timely price and formulary changes and inclusions.

Qualifications

  • University level degree in a Science or Business discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 35 years of relevant work experience in a market access, marketing or business development capacity.
  • Previous experience with a generic pharmaceutical portfolio and/or product development is an asset.
  • Previous professional experience with data warehouse related responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical ability specifically to distill large volumes of data accurately and efficiently to produce meaningful insights to upper management.
  • Proven problemsolving ability in order to resolve issues in workflow internally and externally to shorten timelines and improve efficiencies.
  • A thorough understanding and interpretation of IMS data/solutions and Cognos software.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles.
  • Adaptable and able to work independently to deliver results.
  • Able to quickly prioritize and adapt to a variety of requests from multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills combined with ability to work in a crossfunctional team.
  • Proficient use of MS Excel, Access, Power Point.
