    Role

    We are looking for a Senior Specialist, Client Partnerships, who understands the unique marketing challenges faced by various industries in Canada and comes with a deep understanding of marketing and sales strategy. We are looking for people who have experience working and partnering directly with marketing leaders.

    Reporting to the Head of Client Partnerships Canada, the Senior Specialist, Client Partnerships, has the responsibility for selling the proposition, platform, and products to agencies & brands directly. You will We are looking for people who understand the unique marketing challenges faced by direct clients and have a deep understanding of marketing and sales strategy. You will work with a close-knit team consisting of 6-12 members who focus on complementary functional areas, including account strategy, mid-funnel strategy, creative strategy, campaign strategy, market strategy and supply strategy.

    Responsibilities

  • Act as primary client-facing lead for all prospective and current clients, both agency and direct.
  • Generate activity and revenue to promote growth within the offering.
  • Map out the landscape and put together a prioritized outreach strategy to connect with marketing leaders and decision-makers at the brand level.
  • Set up meetings and have strategic discussions directly with marketing leaders at companies.
  • Prepare for meetings by researching each company, their current marketing strategy, and their unique challenges.
  • Educate marketing leaders on our unique cross-platform video solutions and how those solutions can address their unique challenges.
  • Establish long-term relationships with the goal of being a valued strategic partner.
  • Provide campaign strategy consultation and analysis.
  • Ability to listen carefully to delineate customer challenges, curate creative solutions, and address client needs.
  • Qualifications

  • 6+ years of marketing strategy experience
  • A sales background or a demonstrated aptitude for sales skills is preferred, but not required
  • Agency experience leading the relationship with senior marketers at brands
  • Brand marketing experience, directly managing and strategizing campaigns as an internal marketer at leading brands
  • Ability to have a discussion on marketing strategy with senior marketing leaders at a brand
  • Proven relationship building capabilities with key marketing decision makers at brands, OR A track record of developing enduring and actionable client/partner relationships
  • Strong understanding of marketing industry trends and technologies
  • Strong knowledge of leveraging brand marketing to drive impact
  • Strong work ethic, hunger to learn, and drive to constantly improve
  • Self-motivated, and comfortable working independently and as part of team where members are accountable to each other
