GridGear Solutions is an electricity meter manufacturer who is innovating in an industry that has been stagnant for years. We are working to build a better tomorrow by producing precise, energy monitoring equipment, and constantly building up and improving our product line. Your role as the Production Assistant will be to work with every member of our
small team, from CEO to engineer, in a collaborative, team-based environment. GridGear can offer a
low-stress, flexible environment, with lots of room for growth. You can often expect to find sports on in the background, or a friendly dog asking for a treat at our facility. Our hours of operation are 11-6pm, M-F.

Daily activities include_:

• Inventory counts
• Repetitive production
• Drilling, machining, wiring of various product inputs
• Procedural testing of equipment
• Warehouse and office cleaning
• Packaging, shipping, and receiving
• Running basic computer programs for various stages of production (print software, excel, etc.)
• Calibration and verification of accurate electricity monitoring equipment
• A good work ethic with a willingness to learn in a growing company
• The ability to lift up to 50lbs
• The ability to get to Annacis island on time daily (own car is preferred)
• The ability work independently and in a team
• High School Education or equivalent
• An understanding of Worksafe work practices
• Basic knowledge of machinery (preferred)
• Good attention to detail
• Computer knowledge is an asset (Microsoft office)
• Must be okay with dogs (dogs in the office at all times)

Salary:
$50,000.00 per year
