Job Description:

Reporting to the Team Leader, the Picker is responsible for sorting various kinds of metals on the conveyors:

  • Prepare the material to feed the various machines
  • Participate in the maintenance of the shredder
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area
  • Keep worksite clean
  • Contribute to any other tasks related to the department

Qualifications:


  • 3 to 6 months of experience as a labourer
  • Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment
  • Knowledge of metals (an asset)
  • Willingness to wear personal protective equipment

  • Attention to detail; ability to do repetitive work
  • Punctuality and diligence
  • Capacity for teamwork
Additional Information

  • Full time and permanent position
  • Day shift
  • Overtime available
