CAD Technician

Responsibilities:

• Produce AutoCAD drawings for:
• Drawings for Condition Assessment Reports
• Design, Tender and Construction Working Drawings
• Prepare quantity takeoffs and budget estimates
• Site work:
• Jobsite work progress review
• Asbuilt measuring for design purposes

Requirements & Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in Architectural Drafting/AutoCAD drawing production
• Proficiency with AutoCAD 201
• Good oral and written English communication skills, with ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience with Sketchup or Revit and Adobe photoshop is an asset
• Must have the ability to read Architectural drawings and details and understand construction methods.
• Knowledge and understanding of building envelope concepts is preferred
• Attention to detail, thoroughness in data gathering and accuracy in calculations
• Willingness to adapt to changing priorities
• Selfmotivated team player

Salary range:
$45,000 - $60,000
