A leading financial services organization in North America is seeking a Vulnerability Management Lead to oversee the region's vulnerability and configuration management programs.

This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong ability to influence others. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in vulnerability management and will drive various initiatives aligned with Information Security objectives.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing vulnerabilities across multiple platforms, developing comprehensive assessment and reporting frameworks, and presenting updates to senior leadership.

• Developing strategies to improve IT security posture;
• Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders;

The position involves analyzing data on potential threats, identifying patterns of behavior associated with those threats, using threat intelligence tools such as intrusion detection systems (IDS), network traffic monitoring software like Wireshark or Tcpdump etc., thereby reducing time spent looking into single incidents rather than dealing day by day - like people usually do when something bad happens first thing morning!
