- Preventive maintenance on all production and environmental control equipment;
- Assist with and learn troubleshooting of production and facilities equipment breakdowns;
- Installation of mechanical equipment;
- Fabrication for machinery and equipment;
- Safety precautions and proper methods of Preventive and Predictive Maintenance on various equipment.
- Licensed Millwright required;
- Ability to read and comprehend mechanical drawings, codes & mechanical safety, basic electrical/electronic components, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical equipment, and welding;
- Strong background in manufacturing related to injection moulding, coating, and assembly is an asset;
- Thorough understanding of rigging, welding, electrical theory and mechanics;
- Strong practical use of math and physics;
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills, together with high degree of mechanical expertise and computer knowledge;
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in an Automotive Manufacturing environment. Preferably Moulding;
- Some experience in CNC's, PLC's, etc. is an asset;
- Self-motivated, ability to follow-up on tasks through to completion;
- Proven track record for performance and attendance in existing position;
- Proven ability to work in a team environment along with other Millwrights, Apprentices, Electricians, Mould Makers, etc. Strong Team attitude required;
- Able to work flexible hours and be available for overtime as required.
- Normal amount of standing;
- Ability to move/ walk around on the production floor;
- Ability to work at a computer workstation;
- Ability to bend, twist, lift, reach;
- Ability to climb stairs/ ladders;
- Ability to travel between Autosystems facilities;
- Ability to work flexible hours.
