Key Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance on all production and environmental control equipment;
• Assist with and learn troubleshooting of production and facilities equipment breakdowns;
• Installation of mechanical equipment;
• Fabrication for machinery and equipment;
• Safety precautions and proper methods of Preventive and Predictive Maintenance on various equipment.

Key Qualifications/Requirements

• Licensed Millwright required;
• Ability to read and comprehend mechanical drawings, codes & mechanical safety, basic electrical/electronic components, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical equipment, and welding;
• Strong background in manufacturing related to injection moulding, coating, and assembly is an asset;
• Thorough understanding of rigging, welding, electrical theory and mechanics;
• Strong practical use of math and physics;
• Exceptional troubleshooting skills, together with high degree of mechanical expertise and computer knowledge;
• Must have at least 5 years of experience in an Automotive Manufacturing environment. Preferably Moulding;
• Some experience in CNC's, PLC's, etc. is an asset;
• Self-motivated, ability to follow-up on tasks through to completion;
• Proven track record for performance and attendance in existing position;
• Proven ability to work in a team environment along with other Millwrights, Apprentices, Electricians, Mould Makers, etc. Strong Team attitude required;
• Able to work flexible hours and be available for overtime as required.

• Ability to work flexible hours.
