Description

Duties and Responsibilities
-
Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and responsible manner

  • Housekeeping of department ensuring it is organized, clean, and provides a safe working environment
  • To be responsible for following standard rotation of products
  • To scale, mix, bake, finish, and decorate in accordance with approved company procedures and standards following standardized formulas
  • To load/unload ovens as per approved procedures and standards
  • To consistently ensure sufficient quantity on hand to meet customer needs without producing more than required
  • To be responsible for training all existing and new bakery techniques, as directed by Manager
  • Ensure proper storage of all ingredients, supplies, and baked goods
  • Handles product to ensure damaged and markdowns are limited
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize all bakery equipment and utensils each day
  • To follow all cleaning schedules as per standards

Qualifications

  • Previous baking experience is required
  • Journeyman baking certificate an asset
**Must Be Available to Work Night/Early Morning Shifts
