Inventory Control Specialist


Duties:


  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels for all products
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits
  • Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to ensure timely and accurate data collection
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices
  • Utilize ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system to optimize inventory levels
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to resolve any inventoryrelated issues
  • Monitor and track inventory movements, including receiving, storage, and shipping
  • Perform regular analysis of inventory turnover rates and recommend actions to optimize stock levels
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding inventory management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software/systems (e.g., ERP, MRP)
  • Experience operating pump truck or other material handling equipment is a plus
  • Excellent data collection and analysis skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Familiarity with ecommerce platforms and online marketplace operations
  • Proficiency in Excel for data extraction and manipulation is highly desirable
  • Ability to visualize data using charts, graphs, or other data visualization tools
  • Strong problemsolving skills with a focus on continuous improvement
