In your role, you will:

  • Report to the Manager Warranty & Authorized Service Facility (ASF) Management.
  • Review accuracy of work order payers prior to invoicing.
  • Assess Warranty and program claims, and all other claims for Bombardier Aviation.
  • Work with various databases and aerospace standard documentation, to adjudicate work orders, sales orders and Warranty/Smart Services claims with the highest level of professionalism, with customer service being at the forefront of all Customer interactions and transactions.
  • Adjudicate Warranty and Smart Maintenance Program (SMP) claims, service orders, sales orders, all other claims submitted from customers and/or their representatives, authorized service facilities (ASFs), Bombardier Service Centers (BAS) as well as from webbased SAP / Customer Portal environment.
  • Review work order preliminary invoices from BAS and ASFs to ensure accurate invoicing for all invoiced parties.
  • Communicate directly with the Customer and service providers to answer questions and relay contractual coverage information.
  • Create Smart Parts contracts for new deliveries in SAP and the Oracle Smart Parts database.
  • Supply status of claims for Customer compensation request submissions and communicate the adjudication results of said claims.
  • Provide information sessions with Customers and service partners on a scheduled and unscheduled basis.
  • Work with flatrated man hour list for removal and installation of aircraft components.
  • Produce reports, administer policies and develop propositions regarding improving program related cost trends.
  • Represent the warranty department in various internal meetings, Customer Review Board Meeting (CSRB) & Steering Committee (CRSC), Failure Review Board (FRB), and ensure awareness of upcoming technical improvement changes ex. Service Bulletin, Advisory Wires, program change requests (PCR), program change approvals (PCA), etc.
  • Support the development of processes and IT systems that will improve / enhance Warranty and Smart Services operations and efficiency.
  • Participate in workshops and meetings for overandabove customer requests to determine feasibility and financially viability.
  • Invoice monthly SMP flight hours.
  • Work with the customer, BAS and accounts receivable as required to assist in any dispute resolution relating to Warranty/SMP.
  • Support Customer claim processing efforts.
  • Perform under limited supervision in a remote office scenario.
  • Ensure the work is compliant with Bombardier Warranty Programs, Schedule A (customer contracts) and any applicable Service Support Agreements (SSA), Smart Maintenance Plus (SMP) or contractual documentation presently in place or future iterations, thereof.

Qualifications

  • You have a Technical College (AME) diploma or equivalent 38 years in aircraft industry after market areas (i.e., Part Logistics, service center, Contracts, Customer Support) with preferred handson aviation experience.
  • You have basic evaluation and research skills to search and interpret information from various databases and administer Customer claims and questions.
  • You have the ability to input, edit, retrieve, format and generate diverse reports and documents.
  • You have excellent knowledge and experience in a Windows environment (Microsoft Suite).
  • SAP knowledge would be an asset.
  • You have strong time and priority management skills.
  • You have excellent and effective communication skills.
  • You have fluent oral and written competencies in English (and in French, asset)
  • You have knowledge of Bombardier contracts, Schedule "A" and Smart Services programs (required).
  • You have knowledge of aircraft systems, technical manuals, service bulletins publications and maintenance schedule (required).
  • You have the ability to rapidly determine the level of effort and tasks required to perform a variety of maintenance work on aircraft.
