Development Manager, Saskatoon (Full-time)

The Development Manager is responsible for the research, development and execution of RMHC-SK Annual Campaigns, Fundraising Strategies and Community Engagement to meet operational budgetary goals.

Key responsibilities include:

• Identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of donors
• Development and implementation of RMHC-SK Annual Campaigns through signature fundraising events and initiatives
• Securing event and program sponsorship to support Annual Campaigns
• Growing revenue through cultivation and support of 3rd Party fundraisers
• Community engagement including the identification and engagement of new donors and community partners
• Attending fundraising events, networking events and giving presentations
• Ensuring accurate collection and reporting of all fundraising data
• Overseeing social media and marketing strategies in alignment with designated Annual Campaigns and Fundraising Strategies
• Providing leadership and direction to the Development Associate
• Volunteer stewardship
• Alongside RMHC-SK Staff responsible for creating a safe and welcoming environment for all guests

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in fundraising and donor development
• Demonstrated ability to set and exceed fundraising goals
• Demonstrated success in developing successful campaigns and fundraising initiatives
• Experience in the nonprofit sector and understanding of the donor stewardship and relations cycle
• Demonstrated budget planning and financial management experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Excellent planning, implementation, and evaluation skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience leading volunteers
• Able to work a flexible schedule and travel when required
• Valid driver's license
• Able to pass a Police Record Check
• Proof of Covid 19 vaccination

Work Hours:35 hours per week, primarily weekdays with evening and weekend work as required.


Salary Range:
$54,250 - $71,540
