Reporting to the Vice-President of Talent Planning, Attraction and Acquisition, you will be responsible for leading the Recruiting of hourly positions for the whole organization (30+ sites in the US and Canada).

As such, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive recruiting strategy for our manufacturing and distributions sites to ensure workforce availability for production sites is maximized.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the recruiting function for production positions (general labour as well as specialized roles) across the organization. Develop and implement a comprehensive recruiting strategy for hourly positions across the organization
- 's 30+ production sites.

  • Build the practice, systems, and structures based on best practices to ensure that the organization attracts and retains top talent.
  • Partner with site directors and hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies to meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external recruiting partners and vendors.
  • Manage the recruiting team and provide guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain metrics to track the effectiveness of the recruiting function.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable collective agreements, laws and regulations related to recruiting and hiring.

Qualifications
Bachelor
- 's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in recruiting for hourly positions in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • An expert in recruiting best practices and trends.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.
  • Meticulous and detail oriented.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams and to build partnerships.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Bilingual (English-French)
