    The Commercial Business Analyst at Hasbro is responsible for generating insights on commercial performance in the Canadian business. The member measures and tracks all key commercial metrics including revenue, shipments, inventory, distribution, and market share. It supports the commercial leaders in the development of strategy and the day-to-day decision making involved in operating their business. Through internal partnerships, the Commercial Business Analyst develops and improves dashboards and delivers the results of predictive analytics, and aggregates the impact of performance across all business activity on regional revenues.

    Day in the life of a Commercial Business Analyst:

    • Support Canadian leadership in operating the business through data analysis presented at business reviews and key decision points in our Integrated Business Process
    • Conduct market research and competitor research to stay aware of important trends in the market and provide guidance during regional strategic planning (this role is the key contact for Circana)
    • Collect and analyze data and insights needs from the region (ie. POS, shipments, economic trends, etc.)
    • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to deliver data and translate insights into business actions
    • Act as point person for questions, concerns relevant to Hasbro's internal POS reporting system (AIM) for Canada reporting
    • Track inventory for all media items at Retail to ensure full alignment and in-stocks and flag the appropriate team(s)
    • Identify opportunities for new projects, using existing tools in new ways, using existing data differently, and generally to demonstrating the value of data
    • Provide analytic support at retail/account-level, as needed

    What You will bring:

    • 5+ years as an analyst in the consumer products space, preferably with firms selling through mass market channels. Experience in Fashion, Toys or Games, a plus.
    • Expert PC / Excel skills (index matches, v-lookups, pivot tables, macros, etc.)
    • Strong domain knowledge of commercial metrics and measures for revenue, shipments, inventory, distribution, and market share. Experience with advertising and supply chain analytics is a plus.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in translating complex analysis into easily consumed insights through documentation and presentation.
    • Experience with prioritization and demand-management across multiple, senior leader stakeholders and presenting at the senior leader level.
    • Comfort in using and interacting with large data files and databases, across a range of technologies.
    • Growth mindset that thrives in ambiguity through being fearless and curious, and taking ownership of problems
